I’m not sure who originally said this. I first heard these words more than a decade ago, eloquently spoken by Katie Couric, at my son’s Boston University Graduation. I wrote these words in my journal to never forget. Happiness and success is about moving forward not backward. In order to succeed, we must direct ourselves to go forward, with passing glances behind. We should keep the past in our mind to serve as the rough draft to shape our future.
