The world tries to tell us we need to be perfect. We have to have the perfectly curated Instagram feed. As parents, we need to make sure our kids have all the veggies and none of the sugar, help them learn but don't force it, don't yell but don't let them get away with everything, spend one-on-one time with them but don't be a helicopter parent. As women in business we need to be polished but not pretentious, assertive but not bossy. The list goes on. It's exhausting to try to be perfect. So don't. Just be a good human to others and yourself. And when you fail at it, remember that success isn't about never making mistakes. It's about learning from them.
